So much fun, so easy to use!

I was apprehensive about managing one of these as I have no sense of balance but I was so surprised. We did the one hour micro tour and it began with a lesson on how to use them, how to balance and steer etc. We had a safety lesson and a practice and then we were ready for the off. There is a little bag on the front to pop you valuables in. We saw some cool graffiti art down by the canal and then went over to Browns Island. We were able to go full speed here as it was fairly quiet - 13mph - but it was such fun. We also took in the Capitol Building and Governors Mansion on the tour. Our guide was really nice and chatty. I cannot wait to book a longer trip. My godson had an awesome time. The office on East Cary is easy to find and there is plenty of parking nearby. The Trolley Tour also goes from here. galaxy148 - Glen Allen, Virginia

Have taken 5 tours so far. Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Knowledgeable and easy going tour guides. They always make sure you're comfortable riding before they leave. Highly recommend! Stacy CJ

The tour itself was amazing! Our tour guide (Jonathan) was very knowledgeable about each historic site that we visited. The Segway will make you nervous at first; after a few practice attempts, you’ll become an expert. The overall experience was unique and I would definitely do it again. Just as a helpful tip- please dress for the weather, the wind from being on the Segway paired with the natural elements makes for a chilly, chilly day. –shaquillemp

Amazing first time experience. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff made learning to ride a really fun day. Would highly recommend taking a tour. Brian Kirby

This is what you need to do if you are visiting RVA, or even if you have lived here all your life! My dad and I had a completely awesome time on the 2 hour landmark tour! Thank you to our fantastic tour guides and all of the kind staff for such a fun day! –Amanda Wontz

Riding the Segway was surprisingly easy. I am a middle-aged, rather dimwitted and un-coordinated person recovering from a broken hip, and, after a few precarious moments, I had no trouble. The training, done in an adjacent alley, was fast but fairly thorough. One over-confident lady had a small spill, but otherwise everyone in the group seemed to master the Segway quickly. Our guide Jonathan was very nice and knowledgeable. He was friendly and kind, but he also focused on safety. I enjoyed his anecdotes and historical information. The tour itself was really good. We visited many sites, including the canal, the River, several murals, the Capital, and the Governor's residence. Pam Northam even stopped to speak with us! I hope to do another tour in the future. –LeePulaski_Va_
